Historical Note
Constantine I, later known as Constantine the Great, ruled from AD 307 to 337 and became one of the most influential emperors of the later Roman world.
His reign was closely connected with the rise of Constantinople and major changes in the political and religious landscape of the Roman Empire.
After his death in AD 337, memorial coins continued to carry his image. NGC notes that posthumous AE4 issues of Constantine formed part of this commemorative coinage.
These small late Roman coins preserve the image and memory of an emperor whose reign marked a major transition in Roman history.

FALJU Perspective
FALJU COINS selected this piece for the quiet historical presence created by its small scale, aged surface, and centuries of survival.
Unlike a modern proof coin, its appeal lies in the traces of time that remain on the surface.
We view this piece not simply as an ancient coin, but as a compact historical object that has survived from the late Roman world into the present.

FALJU COINS
